Just a few hundred metres from the quiet coastal road linking the many towns and villages, The River is in a peaceful and privileged setting between the coastal road and Tabatinga beach, and with green areas both to the front and side, tranquility for the select few is assured.

Set back and elevated from the small and meandering Rio Poeira, local planning regulations ensure the views will never change by any future construction taking place.

Seemingly miles from the hustle and bustle (if there is such a thing in Brazil!) of modern life, it is less than five minutes from the coastal town of Jacuma, with its numerous bars, shops and facilities, and is a tranquil and picturesque drive of only 25 kms to the lovely and vibrant city of Joao Pessoa.

For travelling further afield, the BR101 coastal highway (currently being upgraded to motorway standard) is an easy 15 minute drive away. And most important of all, The River is just a short walk from the beach of Tabatinga!

There is an wonderful mixture of gentle surf, calm waves, reefs, corals, cliffs, maceiós and fresh water streams. If you walk right to the end of the beach where it touches Coquerinho you will find yet another perfect place to rest and let the children play. Natural pools form in the rocky outcrops and there is plenty of shade. If you fancy something to eat then go to Coquerinho, fill up and then return to your private beach. Tabatinga will be deserted; You could swim naked and no-one would know!

(Interestingly, equally beautiful Tambaba, one of Brazil's few recognised and only official naturist beach, is just a few kilometres away.)
