Locations
Just a few hundred metres from the quiet coastal road from Joao Pessoa, passing through Jacuma, and linking the many towns and villages, The River is in a peaceful and privileged setting between the coastal road itself, and Tabatinga beach. With green areas both to the front and side, tranquility for the select few is assured.
Set back and elevated from the small and meandering Rio Poeira, local planning regulations in Paraiba ensure the views will never change by any future construction taking place.
Seemingly miles from the hustle and bustle (if there is such a thing in Brazil!) of modern life, The River is less than five minutes from the fast developing coastal town of Jacuma, with its numerous bars, shops and facilities, and is a tranquil and picturesque drive of only 25 kms to the lovely and vibrant city of Joao Pessoa.
For travelling further afield, the BR101 coastal highway (currently being upgraded to motorway standard) is an easy 15 minute drive away. And most important of all, The River is just a short walk from the beach of Tabatinga!
There is an wonderful mixture of gentle surf, calm waves, reefs, corals, cliffs, maceiós and fresh water streams.
If you walk right to the end of the beach where it touches Coquerinho you will find yet another perfect place to rest and let the children play. Natural pools form in the rocky outcrops and there is plenty of shade.
- When it's time to eat after a hard mornings relaxation on the beach, then take that walk to Coquerinho.
- Chill-out, unwind, and enjoy real local cuisine, (fish will certainly be on the menu!) and then lazily return to your own 'private beach'.
- Tabatinga will almost certainly be deserted.
- You could swim naked and no-one would know!
Interestingly, equally beautiful Tambaba, one of Brazil's few recognised, and first and currently only official naturist beach, is just a few kilometres away. It is well run, and has bars and a beachside restuarants.
The River is a unique project that has been designed to a high specification taking particular advantage of its idyllic location and privileged outlook.
For a select few, this really will be beach & country living.....at it's best!
